About Us
I am an Irish primary school teacher who is passionate about ICT in Education. I chose ICT in Education as my pedagogical option during my teacher training and since then I have tried to incorporate ICT as much as possible into my teaching. I have been fortunate to work in schools with a big focus on e-learning and have been able to develop my teaching skills in this area as a result. In the past, I have been involved in ICT curriculum development groups and after school clubs using laptops and iPads.
I decided to set up this website as more and more Irish primary schools are beginning to use tablets for education. Doing a simple search on any of the app stores can often return thousands of apps which may or may not be suitable for the classroom. Having used iPads in my teaching for the past number of years, I have gathered a list of apps that I think are beneficial in the classroom and this is what I would like to share on this website. As well as this, I am always trying out new apps and looking for ways to use them in the classroom and this is something that I would like to share with other primary teachers.
